I thought that this was an especially poignant and melancholy story. Actually, to call this a story is a bit of an understatement. It's more along the lines of a saga, my goodness it's long. Not that I am complaining, not one bit. I just find it so sad that Legolas will (seemingly) never find peace and happiness in Valinor. The Valar seems to demand so much of him, it just seems unfair. I love the story, but it makes me want to cry for Legolas.
