I only read your story because I saw your Yahoo message. I do think it's excellent - and I'm curious to see how it plays out. Like, especially - what in the world does it have to do with LOTR?

I'm on the "hated 1st chapter" side, but would like to see more. Way too much medical info. I admire the depth of your knowledge, but I don't need to know all those facts. I think you could have explained the frostbite parts of the story much more simply, with a lot fewer words.
