Mm ... that was a little odd, I have to admit. I don't want to sound mean by saying "Try harder" either though -.-
So, the characters aren't all that off .. I have to say Neji might be a little more stoic than he appears to be in this little ficlet. Oh well, the joys of fantasy. Oh, and you have a little typo in the name of the story (Wating instead of Waiting). I just realized while writing the review. ^^

Very much enjoyed. Sorta PWPish compared to Caged, but still very enjoyable. You really should continue, ne? I haven't read any good M/F Shikamaru fics lately (some good M/M ones though). And I really should get a laptop so that I can pass my trainrides in a similar manner... or at least read ^_^
