Aaaaw, thanks for the compliments *blushes*. But we really shouldn't be having two conversations like this XD "The trio of parents..." XDDD I was talking about your writing, as in, your way of portraying them is amazing (hell, my English sucks sometimes XD).

Now on to this latest chapter! I just love it! That's how real kisses feel and you pictured it so well. The story is progressing nicely, too, and I like the way you write the other guys (Naruto, Hinata, Ino, Kiba and so on). Hm... was it just me, or did everybody else sense a teeeeeny bit of ShinoKiba-ness in there? ^_~

Oh, and about Neji commenting the smacks on Shikamaru's head: Of course I don't mind! Please, just go ahead and use it ^o^ Hahaaa! I can just imagine the look on Shikaku's face when Neji said it!

I can't believe they finally kissed! I am very impressed with the way you built that up and left me wanting more, so, so much more!!! I hope I can ask a favor? I hate fics that leave one as the seme and one as uke, I'd love to see this paring as a couple who view eachothers as equals.

I try not to read them though cause most of the time, there's no satisfaction with the ending, or the one-shot in general sometimes.
Hell a lot of the time with some of the ones I've read, the author left it wide open for a continuation of some sort.
Hardly ever happens, so it's just really disappointing.
I mean I might occasionaly read a PWP, but I like for there to at least be SOME kind of prupose to it.
Hell I'll read a Two-shot if it's not just all sex.

This is one of the few good stories I've been able to find on AFF...usually I just come here looking for badfic, but occasionally I find a pleasant surprise like this one.

The only thing that threw me off temporarily -- yeah, as you mention in your notes on this chapter, chrysanthemums are a pretty traditional symbol for male homosexuality. I'd assumed that the gift of the chrysanthemum was Shikamaru's mother hinting that she thought that Shikamaru and Neji were already a couple...it took me a little while to figure out that she hadn't thought of this.

Hee, but spoilers are fun! *innocent* I still love that Neji burned the bread. That line of reasoning used to occur to me but dad gave me a long lecture on ovens that made me think twice... Anyway! Hurray for first kiss! But now, the moment of decision: lemon or tangerine? Only you can decide... can you tell I'm listening to hyper music? ...I want a tangerine now... but need to sleep. Tangerine tangent. Anyway, as I was saying, I liked this chapter! ^_^;;; Neji being like, wtf is Shikamaru thinking? amused me, and how Shikamaru just responded with a 'yeah' and Neji got pissed at him. That was delightful. I can't explain why the exploding fountain look was funny! It amused me a lot. That's all I can say. Hmm.... going to bed now, yup.

I am just waiting for someone to walk in without permission and see them in bed together. Like Ino, or Naruto or something. This is hilarious, I like! I like most of your stories actually. Keep writing.

It's really nice to see how their quirks and different sides just all fit together.
I love the pairing and I love the story. Can't wait for the next chapter. (Please don't feel pressured because of the last bit. ^_^)
