I really loved your story. I'm sad that isn't finished.
More! More more more more more more more!!! I don't care how many years it has been! Talent for writing doesn't fade that quickly! I wanna be there when Iruka clicks that Kakashi has been dipping into headspace! I wanna be there when he gets all choked up cause Kakashi has no one to bring him out of it! I wanna know Iruka's thoughts on Kakashi and Minato's relationship! I wanna see Genma support Iruka through what he has done and what he needs to do now! PLZ! I NEED CLOSURE!
Regards,
Kobayashi Shiki.
On the other side is Kakashi's relationship with his village. I really hope Hana manages to keep the use of her hands; more, I hope Kakashi goes and talks to her and the other children. It'd be good for all of them.
And of course, what is Tsunade thinking about? Anyway, I hope to see this updated sometime in the future: it's a lovely story that I'd like to see the end of.
You call _this_ a catharsis?
Well, I give you this, from Kakashi's perspective, it definitely is (and it made cold shudders run down my back, it was so powerful). But from Iruka's perspective... that left me in a knot tenser than anything else.
The only thing that didn't quite make sense to me was, why Kakashi stayed at home. I mean, yeah, not being able to face Iruka and all, that's understandable, but I would have thought that Kakashi had a bit more sense than letting personal problems interfere with the village's reputation. And you can't tell me that he simply _forgot_, because he had been tearing himself apart for the past week to make sure the performance went over well. Or did he simply tell himself that, since he wasn't an Academy instructor, his presence wasn't necessary?
Whatever. The whole chapter was horrible and painful (_not_ your writing skills, definitely not those, I'm talking about the gut-wrenching pain inside Kakashi and the horror of having a child blow her _hands_ apart), and the vulcano finally erupted. I'm so looking forward to how you're going to resolve this!
