Sad but love how Shikamaru can make mistakes and learns from them.

I'm so glad you took the time to write and post this, it's been so long since I've read a good shika/naru story :) I also went back and skimmed through the previous stories and it's sad to see the direction their relationship had taken and yet I liked that hopefulness at the end. Plus who doesn't like sneaky meddling teachers ;)

I spent my birthday a few days ago on my own also, I found cake and wine did wonders ;) It may not have been the best day but Happy Belated Birthday anyways and let's hope things get better this coming year :)
