When I woke up, my head pounded and my bones were stiff. I couldn't lift my arm when I tried.
Over the pounding in my head, I heard crickets.
I suddenly realized why I couldn't move my arms. They were tied
behind my back.
And my legs were tied, also.
What is going to happen to me?
Panic seized my heart when I remembered what happened.
Then I heard hushed whispers not to far off.
It sounded as if two men were in an argument. I slightly turned my head to the direction the whispers were coming from.
I couldn't quite make out the whole conversation and
I heard footfalls coming from the direction of the voices.
I quickly closed my eyes and pretended to be still asleep.
Then suddenly a pair of ice cold hands grabbed my right upper arm, making me squeak, and...
