Quick Author's Note
This morning when I opened my Inbox, I saw an e-mail labeled as being from one of my favorite fic authors, yura, who wrote "True Self, New Self". It was titled "Sad News" and I first thought that she was letting her reviewers know that she was deleting the story but I was greatly saddened to learn that it was a much worse scenario. It was actually an e-mail from her son letting us know that on her way back from the hospital with her daughter, who had recently recovered from weeks in the ICU, they were in a car accident and died.
I felt compelled to let my readers know because I thought many of you whom she didn't have an e-mail address for should know and I realized that a few of her readers might be reading this fic as well. Please send your prayers, whatever your religion, to her grieving son.
