I would wait forever
Did you know that i write poetry? YOU SHOULD!
I already have two other poems in my author thingy!(not) (is surprisingly inarticulate for someone who just wrote a poem)
anyways I wont make you read my other poems but I will make you read this one! HA!

On summers’ day young and fair
You screamed defiance and slashed your hair
And pasts lay revealed for all to see
But none would turn and notice me
And i would wait forever...
A flash and a smile is all my worth
No feelings shared, any truths unearthed
And quiet moments passed to soon
Filled with chatter to erase the gloom
And i would wait forever...
He left us both at summers end
Friend are foes I shall not bend
And wounds made with tender care
A friendship revealed he could not bear
And i would wait forever...
Time is a passage to heal the pain
And loves tears are a tender rain
And strength reveals what would not show
And you say his name and your face will glow
And I would wait forever...
You came to me on your wedding day
congratulations was all I could say
And in my cheer there will be no lack
And this smile will never slack
And I would wait forever...
Yes a smile that lasts forever
And I actually think I’m being clever
I’ll wait for you till end of days
And I’ll show my love for you in little ways
And I would wait forever…
But even endless smiles can be worn down
And now I wear a constant frown
My body has become my cage
And inside its fire can no longer rage
I can not heal i shall not care
this burden was to much to bear
And from my veins my blood did slip
My fingers numb they could not grip
I guess Forever is a word of fools
Nothing lasts in the life of tools
I could not even say what was wrong
I guess forever was a day too long

A/N:
recently the manga informed us that having kyubi constantly heal naruto was shortening his life, I wanted to go back and incorporate this into my story because i thought it fit with this particular poem....actually alot better i think.
