One More Time
Prologue - One More Time
I think theres something different about Sakura lately. She gets all gloomy whenever I mention how close we are to getting Sasuke back.
Its probably my fault, she's probably just mad at me for not getting him back before. . . but then why . . .?
Sakura and me were eating at Ichiraku Ramen and, because my right arm was all bandaged up, I was struggling to use my chopsticks left handed.
at some point, I accidentally knocked the ramen bowl off the counter, but Sakura caught it for me. As I was about to thank her she shifted closer
to me and said "Oh Jeez . . . Gimme your chopsticks." Unfortunately, the Asshole stand-in Sai popped up out of nowhere and started feeding me . . .
Had Sakura planned on doing that . .?
maybe its just wishful thinking, but perhaps she's starting to get over that Uchiha bastard.
But then again, this IS Sakura we're talking about . . . .
I've only ever given up on one thing, knowing that it was beyond my reach forever.
Damn Sasuke beat me, no matter how strong I get, even if I could beat his Cursed Mark Stage 2 form without the fox's help, there will
still be one area that he beats me all too easily.
Love.
He has Sakura's heart, so I gave up trying to win it.
Now she's taunting me with false hope.
False hope given in little gestures
Gestures like her smile, she smiles a lot, but I've seen her smile at me with the smile she used to reserve for Sasuke . . .
Like the way she eats ramen with me at Ichiraku's so often. . .
Like a million other thing that I just can't put into words.
Yesterday, Sai told me that he fancied Ino . . . he has such bad taste, not that Ino isn't hot, but that he would chose her over
someone as gorgeous as Sakura . . .but then, he DID call Sakura ugly . . . I'm glad though. That he likes Ino more than Sakura.
Because of this false hope that Sakura gave me, I'm thinking of trying to win her love, one more time . . .
