I was walking on a road that was full of hate,
I felt lost, I didn't feel love.

People only cared about what they saw,
They didn't care about me.

I looked in my heart to see if I could see,
A way out, a heavenly place, a place for me.

I saw a little tiny light,
It wasn't too bright.

I kept moving towards it,
Hope held tight.

It became a greater light,
So comforting to me.

I've been in the dark for so long,
It's finally my time to shine.
